Nick Perlman has quite a few faces and N.P. is one of them. N.P. is a songwriter who, though currently rooted in the Bronx, draws influences from many places. He means that literally; listening to his work you'd find that place is very important to him, forming the backbone for many of his songs, lyrically or instrumentally. Memories intersect and a swimming hole in Woodstock becomes a lake in Alabama becomes a somber commute into Manhattan and back again on his latest EP, "Given Time". N.P. looks to reflect on how the world changes all of us in, sometimes, the smallest ways and translate those experiences into heartfelt songwriting.
