BIO

WE ARE NOT OUR BODIES is a four-piece post-hardcore band from Yonkers, NY, established in 2013. Through dissonant walls of sounds, heavy groove-laden bass lines and punishing riffs, the band has reemerged with their album Seasons of Myself (April 2020).

“El Monstro” is dedicated to everyone living in the struggle. We embraced the power of DIY and learned the basics. Guitars and vocals were recorded on our own using an iPad/MacBook running GarageBand. We are so blessed to be surrounded with a community that shared our vision and helped us through the process. We are super happy to share this with the world. “
